Jay Rojek has been acting secretary for the Blue Bird School Bus Foundation since its inception in 2015. Critical to the success of The Foundation has been the funding that has occurred through numerous fundraisers and charity events under Jay’s leadership. Jay is the Executive Director of Purchasing and became part of the Blue Bird team in August, 2012. Jay’s primary responsibilities are to manage over 500 supplier relationships that are key to Blue Bird’s success. Many of these partnerships extend themselves as strong alliances to The Foundation, ultimately enabling The Foundation to better serve the community. Jay is a graduate from Clarkson University where he obtained his B.S. in Industrial Engineering and holds an MBA in International Business from Xavier University.
